We accept both Medicaid and Medicare for eligible individuals. These programs help cover essential home care and hospice services, including skilled nursing, therapy, and medical equipment. Our team will help you determine eligibility and guide you through the enrollment and billing process.

private insurance

Many private insurance plans cover various home care and hospice services. We work with a wide range of insurers and will verify your benefits, coordinate approvals, and handle claims to ensure a smooth process.

Private pay allows families to cover care services out of pocket without relying on insurance or third-party payers. It offers the greatest flexibility in choosing services and scheduling care, ideal for those who want a personalized approach without restrictions.

Supportive Care for Life’s Most Tender Moments

Routine Home Care

Primecare Hospice is proud to serve families across the Middle Georgia region with expert, compassionate hospice services. Our team is local, experienced, and deeply committed to supporting our neighbors through every stage of the hospice journey.

Respite Care

Respite Care refers to a service in which the patient is temporarily placed in a contracted nursing facility, hospital, or inpatient facility, for up to five consecutive days. This type of care is designed to provide a break for the caregiver, allowing them to rest and attend to other obligations.

In the event of a medical emergency or if the caregiver needs to travel out of town, Respite Care offers a solution. Additionally, if the caregiver is experiencing burnout or compassion fatigue, Respite Care can provide a much-needed break for both the caretaker and the dependent, preventing serious health consequences.

Continuous Care

Continuous Care is short-term, in-home support provided during a medical crisis. Unlike routine care, it’s focused on urgent needs that demand immediate attention. As defined by Medicare, it is available only during crisis periods when continuous nursing is required to manage acute symptoms or relieve distress. Some of the symptoms that may require Continuous Care include:

severe pain,
bleeding,
acute respiratory distress,
nausea and vomiting, and
terminal agitation or restlessness.

Under Continuous Care, we provide a minimum of 8 hours of care during each 24 hours, and the service is revisited every day. It’s important to note that Continuous Care is a short-term service, unlike Routine Care, and is one of two levels of care that fall under the category of “Supportive Care.” The other level is Transitional Care.

In-Patient Care

In-patient care provides short-term support in a clinical setting when symptoms become too complex to manage at home. This level of care is typically used to stabilize acute conditions such as severe pain, uncontrolled nausea, respiratory distress, seizures, or complex wound care. At Primecare, we partner with trusted hospitals and hospice facilities to ensure patients receive round-the-clock medical attention in a calm, supportive environment. Our goal is to ease symptoms and help patients return to the comfort of home as soon as they are stable.

We Provide Hospice Services in the Middle Georgia Area

Family & Caregiver Support

We provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and their families with services such as counseling from our chaplain, bereavement assistance, and companionship and therapy from trained volunteers.

Physical Support & Management

Our priority is to guarantee that all choices are respected and that the transition from life is as comfortable and dignified as possible. Our providers will collaborate with the patient, their family, and the physician to achieve this goal.
